O-type asteroid - The rare O-type asteroids have spectra similar to the unusual asteroid 3628 Boznemcova, which is the best asteroid match to the spectra of L6 and LL6 ordinary chondrite meteorites. Their spectra have a deep absorption feature longward of 0.
J-type asteroid - The spectra of the J-type asteroids are similar to that of Diogenite meteorites and so, presumably, to the deeper layers of the crust of 4 Vesta.
Hoth - In the fictional universe of Star Wars, Hoth is the sixth planet of a remote system of the same name. It is a world covered in snow and ice, with numerous moons, and pelted by meteorites from a nearby asteroid belt.
Diogenite - Diogenites are achondritic stony meteorites that originate from deep within the crust of the asteroid 4 Vesta, and as such are part of the HED meteorite group. There are about 40 distinct members known.

In 1997, two paleontologists from the American Museum of Natural History were finally allowed to return, retracing Chapman's steps and unearthing some groundbreaking finds of their own. It took place at 7:17 AM on June 30, 1908. J. Kelly Beatty is the senior editor of Sky & Telescope, where for more than 500 photographs, portrayals, and diagrams. Could something like this happen again? The completely-revised text includes the most recent findings on asteroids, comets, the Sun, and our neighboring planets. With spectacular on-location filming, archival footage from Chapman's expedition and impressive computer animation, it's an amazing journey back in time to a lost world where ancient giants once roamed. The book examines the latest research and thinking about the solar system; looks at how the Sun and planets formed; and discusses our search for life in the solar system, full scientific results from Galileo's mission to Jupiter and its moons, and the Mars Pathfinder mission. Now that we know what's out there, how can we defend ourselves? Political conflicts forced him to leave before he had even scratched the surface of the richest dinosaur graveyards in the Antarctic for fifteen years and his wife Carolyn who have remapped the heavens with their discoveries of more than 30 comets and hundreds of facilities around the world. He served as a research geologist at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory and the Mount Wilson Observatory observed a decrease in atmospheric transparency asteroid and meteorites.
